Urban Forestry Services
We are knowledgeable and experienced in all aspects of urban forestry management. Our skills and services relevant to municipal governments include:
Tree Inventory and Mapping:
We have the tools, team, and knowledge to provide a detailed snapshot of your urban forest, including tree species, size, age, and condition.
Urban Forest Planning:
Utilizing tree data from inventory and mapping, we will analyze the data to help you plan ongoing maintenance and new tree planting in your urban landscape. We will identify hazardous trees, any disease or pest issues. Based on this data, we’ll propose pruning, cabling, removal, fertilization, or healthcare treatments where necessary.
Urban Forest Maintenance:
We will do trimming, take out deadwood and remove whole trees where necessary. Our teams can also assess plant health issues, apply treatments for pests or diseases, amend the soil, and stake or cable trees that require support.
Tree Hazard Assessment:
Our staff includes TRAQ (Tree Risk Assessment Qualified) arborists who can assess trees for safety concerns at the neighborhood, street, or individual tree level. We will walk a street for general inspection, or focus on evaluating a single tree. Tools we use include sounding, probes, compressed air.
Arboricultural Consultation:
Our arborists are available to provide our expert analysis on issues ranging from tree health, decay detection, growth trajectory and measurements, hazard evaluation, species selection for planting, and more.
Additionally, we’re available for lot and right of way clearing, 24/7 emergency services, and storm damage or seasonal clean-up work.
We can handle most arborist jobs in your municipal area, including projects at schools, parks, municipal buildings, the city center, medians, roundabouts, street sidewalks, and vacant or foreclosed properties.
